Key features

Tracks Using Data From MoCap Systems

The device is calibrated alongside your MoCap system using our custom software. The DART-Mo uses the data from your MoCap system to orient the mirrors and focus the camera on your target.

Camera options

The right camera depends on your workflow, frame rate, resolution, and colour requirements. Get in touch and we will help you choose a sensor that fits.

Real-Time Adjustments

Mirrors reorient in real-time so the line-of-sight always follows the target. They continuously reposition at up to 500 Hz and are accurate to 0.1°. The zoom can be adjusted between videos, and focus is continuously adjusted during video capture to keep your target in focus.

Easy Integration

Our DART Live app allows you to easily connect to your MoCap system, calibrate the device, and start tracking your target. It also comes with a range of analysis tools for all your applications.

How it works

  1. Connect on the same network

Plug DART-Mo into a computer running DART Live. That computer needs to sit on the same local network as your MoCap server so DART Live can subscribe to the live tracking stream.

  2. Calibrate against your MoCap volume

A one-time alignment in DART Live maps the mirror coordinate system into your MoCap's world coordinates, so the line-of-sight points exactly where the tracked body is.

  3. Select a target and record

Pick any rigid body or marker set from your MoCap stream inside DART Live. The mirrors reorient at up to 500 Hz and focus adjusts continuously throughout the capture.

  4. Review and export

Play back footage in DART Live, scrub frame-by-frame, and download the high-speed video for your analysis pipeline.
